I purchased this as a replacement/upgrade from an original slide that broke. I enjoy the shape and handle on the side. It feels solid and not too fragile. I'm not sure if it's this new slide, but it doesn't quite fit snug in my 14mm regular use piece as the original did. However, it does fit in well enough to not be concerned of it falling out. The permanent glass screen is a great feature though it needs a thorough cleaning each use to stop from plugging up. The bowl itself is a great size for comfortably packing a 2-3 person amount without spilling over. Will purchase again when I need another slide as the function exceeds the price point.
